Add Coupon Field
Paymattic offers a powerful Coupon feature that allows you to create and manage discounts for your payment forms. This article will guide you through setting up coupons in your WordPress site with Paymattic.
Prerequisites
The Coupon field is a premium feature. You'll need the Paymattic Pro Plugin to use this functionality.
Creating Coupons
Step 1: Access Coupon Settings
- Go to Settings from the Paymattic Navbar
- Click the Coupons tab from the left sidebar
- Click the + Add New Coupon button

Step 2: Configure Coupon Settings
Fill in the coupon details in the following sections:

Basic Information
Coupon Title:
- Enter a descriptive name for your coupon
- This helps you identify the coupon in your dashboard
Coupon Code:
- Enter the code customers will use (e.g., "SAVE20")
- Only letters and numbers are allowed

Discount Configuration
Discount Type:
- Percentage: Discount as a percentage of the total
- Fixed Amount: Specific amount off the total
Discount Amount/Percent:
- Enter the discount value
- Use whole numbers for percentages
Minimum Purchase Amount:
- Set minimum spend requirement (optional)
- Leave blank for no minimum

Usage Limits & Expiration
Limit per User:
- Set usage limit per email address
- Leave blank or enter 0 for unlimited use
- Email-based tracking
Valid Date Range:
- Start Date: When the coupon becomes active (optional)
- End Date: When the coupon expires (optional)
- Format: YYYY-MM-DD

Additional Settings
Form Restrictions:
- Select specific forms for the coupon
- Leave blank to allow on all forms
Status:
- Active: Coupon is ready to use
- Inactive: Temporarily disable the coupon
Stackable:
- Enable to allow combining with other coupons
- Disable for exclusive use

Step 3: Save Your Coupon
Click the Save Coupon button to create your coupon.
Adding Coupon Field to Forms
Follow these steps to add the coupon field to your payment forms:
Step 1: Access Form Editor
- Go to All Forms from the Paymattic Navbar
- Find your target form
- Click the Pencil/Editor icon

Step 2: Add Coupon Field
- Click the Plus Icon to add a new field

- Under Donation & Product Fields, select Coupon
Pro Feature
Remember that the Coupon field requires the Paymattic Pro Plugin.

Step 3: Save and Preview
- Click Save to apply your changes
- Use the Eye Icon to preview your form
